Gill is a chartered marketer, fellow of the royal society of arts, a member of the professional speakers association and the founder of GMT Business Training. She is known as the ‘Common Sense Coach’ and deliver business training specifically to those in the world of beauty, spa, and medical aesthetics. She also offers management and marketing consultancy services to salon and spa owners and managers. However she started her working career as a beauty therapist, specialising in hair removal. She has owned two salons, worked for the supply side of the industry in equipment research and development, new product development and general marketing, Gill has travel extensively nationally and internationally and has lectured in many countries i.e. America, Japan, South Africa and across Europe. She is an author of a number of text books, distance learning workbooks, industry articles as a well as being a judge of industry awards, member of education and industry advisory committees, also a sought after speaker at industry events plus a founding director of Habia which sets the National Occupational Standards for hair and beauty. Her passion for this industry has never wavered and her motivational and inspirational style has made her a successful and popular face in our industry.
